Trevor Dotson

Trevor is a scenic designer based in Chicago, IL. He has experience in theatre, residential interior design, hospitality interior design, and architecture. He holds an MFA from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a BA in Architecture.

He currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Theatre Department at Aurora University, where his responsibilities include teaching and designing for Aurora's Theatre Department. Beyond his role at AU, he actively engages in outside projects, leveraging his expertise and passion for design in diverse creative endeavors.

When he’s not working, you can find him at home in Norwood Park with his wife, daughter Etta, and dog Auggie, cooking up something good in the kitchen and enjoying the little moments that matter most.
