Trevor Dotson
I am a scenic designer dedicated to crafting immersive storytelling experiences in three dimensions. I thrive on collaborative endeavors with fellow theatre artists to achieve a cohesive aesthetic vision. My enthusiasm extends to all aspects of design: theatre, live events. interior design, hospitality, and architecture. I hold a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Judson University, grounding my creative pursuits in both artistic excellence and architectural principles.
I serve as a faculty member in the Department of Theatre at Aurora University, where my responsibilities include teaching and designing for Aurora's season productions. Beyond my role at the university, I actively engage in outside projects, leveraging my expertise and passion for design in diverse creative endeavors.
My wife Victoria and I reside on the Northwest side of Chicago, where we share a love for cooking together, especially experimenting with new soup recipes. We take joy in our dog, Auggie, who fills our home with his daydreaming presence on the sofa. We are proud dog parents
